Our Cottage occupies a superb position overlooking the River Wye and Yat  Rock.  Experience the tranquillity of the wonderful scenery from the conservatory.  We invite our guests to relax and unwind and relieve the stress of everyday life.  All bedrooms are en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities and views over Valley or Garden.  For Special occasions we are happy to provide wine, chocolates, flowers and luxury bathrobes, whatever suits your requirement.

As experienced proprietors we know the importance of an enjoyable English breakfast; all our products are sourced locally where ever possible. Special dietary needs are also catered for.  The Walnut Tree also welcomes well behaved dogs, by prior arrangement.

Symonds Yat West is idea for walking holidays, guided walks are popular and we can send you off with a packed lunch and map.  For the more adventurous, the cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester hold a host of places of interest.
